Since it looks like the House will impeach this ham sandwich the strategy should be to go scorched earth in the Senate trial and flood the deep state with subpoenas to drag the trial out into the primary season and show how the democrats are railroading POTUS and keep the contenders off the campaign trial.

This is an excellent explanation for why they won’t impeach, IMO. They don’t dare hand this over to the R’s in the senate. It would be a democrat blood bath and they know it.
