I have said for a couple of weeks that this is like one of those police car chase videos, and the dems are the “chasee”. Once they started, they are in it until that moment where their tires are blown out, they are surrounded by cop cars and, as their car moves slowly we see the driver’s door open as they prepare to jump out and make a run for it.
They are stuck. They have nothing, and they have no way out. It’s going all the way to the butt kicking in the end, if not a total shoot out.
Like the driver of that car, The only power they have is to choose which streets they go down until they hit that dead end finale. I’m enjoying this very much, even when some “think” they are winning. It only looks that way for a few minutes.
The reason I’m so confident is because they have already shown that they have nothing. You hear it in their questions and you hear it in their wrap-ups. They are just hoping for that miracle when they open the door of the moving car and make a run for it and the cops somehow all trip. It ain’t happening. They are going down hard. And the longer it lasts, the more they deserve it.
We are watching the end of “Mr Smith Goes to Washington” play out before our very eyes, except none of the democrats will be having their mea culpa moment. That only happens in movies.
