Absolutely...and I kind of think they had a way of detecting who was armed, before even stopping them.

People who are doing CCW tend to fidget with them, unconsciously, until they get used to the idea. It's a tell, just like "printing" the outline over the right hip.

Good cops are very adept are reading postures, expressions, movements, always looking for unspoken hints of what people are doing and thinking as they walk down the street. Is he sweating, can he maintain eye contact, where are his hands and what are his fingers doing? Bad guys are clumsy about guns, even if they don't have them in their hands.

But S&F lets them act on these hints, legally.
