I don’t think they will vote to impeach because they would likely lose the House.

But if they do then I say drag it out in the Senate for months. Bring every one of the crooks before the Senate and have them testify.

While I understand the logic that the house wont vote to impeach, consider the following statements:

To the Dems it is all about being in power
Their candidates suck this election cycle
They do not have a winning record to run on
All they have left is throwing mud at others
The leadership likely KNOWS that they are going to lose the House no matter what they do.

Given all that, I would say that they are desperate and desperate people do desperate thing. Likely they will try to salvage the base by pitching “We did all we could but were stopped by the evil Republicans in the Senate. Help us by electing our democrate senator candidates.”

It would fail. To dismiss charges, first there would have to be charges

I’m not convinced yet Pelosi will has or will take the vote. Laura Ingraham raised this possibility last night. I’ve heard other conservative pundits raise this too. But Kevin McCarthy, who would have a better read, laid out a timeline for the Dems taking the vote week before Christmas. Makes me think back to the mass hysteria around the case of George Zimmerman. Anyone with 1% of a brain who studied the evidence knew that was a case of self defense. But Angela Corey indicted him anyway. So what do I know.
