I’m away from home and trying to watch on my iPad through dish tv. It won’t open fox, but will open cnn msnbc....I’m not a conspiracy nut but how is that happening?

Not sure. It might be useful to clear your Safari browser history, then close and reopen it. I’ve had issues on my Macbook watching Fox News using the authentication through my cable provider. You may be experiencing something similar.
