Trump was the CEO of a huge corporation. He seemed to have hired good people, encouraged them to do a great job and then fired them if they did not. He tried that as President but did not realize that creatures of the swamp had no intentions of doing the job he wanted them to do. He lost his opportunity to request every resignation that he could and then replace or keep people after he had time to observe their work product and support.
Yes, whether by bad advice or whatever, Trump failed on this point. He should have immediately accepted the resignations of every ambassador, of every US attorney, and every political appointee on Day One. Too bad he didn’t as I think history would be rather different if he had.
