True. They will also say the GOP set up a new process where we don’t consider Supreme Court nominees in an election year, because of what was done in 2016 after Scalia died.

So between impeachment and a presidential election year happening, the Democrats will claim we can’t consider Supreme Court nominees until after the 2020 presidential election.

I believe you hit on the truth! How can a Senate (led by all talk all the time Graham on Judiciary) vote on a Supreme Court Justice while dealing with an impeached President? Not one of the leaders would have the guts to carry on with normal business.
