McConnell is making it so easy for millions of Trump voters, including my family, to happily “dismiss” the GOP from our ballots post Trump. The arrogance of the GOP Senate is breathtaking given how they fellated the kenyan for 8 years: Obama-Corker Iran deal, support for communist Brennan, etc., etc.

Yeah, well, even if they did remove Trump there is nothing stopping him from running in the 2020 election anyway. Impeachment does not disqualify you from holding the office again in the future, and he hasn’t served 2 terms.
If he runs, he’s guaranteed the nomination and practically guaranteed to win in the general. I would say by an even bigger margin if they do impeach and remove him.

If Republicans throw Trump overboard. He could run as an independent and destroy any chance of a Republican victory.
Getting rid of Trump is not in their best interest. So, they won’t do it!
I doubt that the House will actually impeach him. It would be political suicide for Democrats.
I think that “We ALMOST impeached him” would be the best outcome they can hope for at this point.
