The first televised impeachment inquiry is a fiasco. Supporters of the President should be pleased. Don’t see how Democrats can even vote on this because there is no certainty of wrongdoing. None.— Bill O'Reilly (@BillOReilly) November 13, 2019

Committee Republicans are killing it at the hearing.  Unmasking this entire fraud.— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) November 13, 2019

That was an absolute catastrophe for the hapless Democrats & the clueless Adam Schiff. It’s as if Schiff is quietly working for the POTUS at this point. What a dope.— Dan Bongino (@dbongino) November 13, 2019

Yes, Neighbor A was probably tired of the frequent yelling and screaming going on over his head and finally decided to do something about it. All he did was tell the police there was screaming and yelling. He did NOT say what was being said and whether the screaming was pain, fear, or anger. Once on the scene, the interpretation was for the police, not the Neighbor (WB). All the WB did was alert authorities to a possible situation that needed investigating.

QUESTION ?????

This question may already have been raised, but I can't go thru hundreds of previous posts, lol.

When the two testifiers (Taylor and Kent) departed the hearing this afternoon with police escort, one of them got into the back seat of a red car.

Following him in and sitting down beside him was a woman in Muslim black with full burkha head veil. It looked to me (just from his backside) that it was Taylor.

Anyone got any info on this?

Leni

Don’t know the answer to that one, though I did notice that the two sure seemed to be close. They acted like they really had each other’s back . . . and not in a figurative way.

I have been disturbed that more FReepers are not bothered by Russian interference or Putin in general.

What interference? Be specific please!

Much was alleged, and most here looked on those allegations with extreme skepticism, as made up to hurt Trump.

At the end of the excruciating Mueller investigation he stated that no one in the Trump administration, nor any American citizen, had conspired with Russia in the election.

He did make two sets of charges. In the first he charged 12 individuals and three companies with interfering in the election by using social media. This is what is usually referred to as "The Russian Troll Farm" case, and is still the subject of an ongoing trail. One of the corporate plaintiffs, Concord Management and Consulting, has chosen to submit to the American judicial system,

The second charge Mueller made was, essentially, that the GRU (Russian military intelligence) hacked the DNC computer server and gave the information to Wikileaks.

Because all of the people charged in this were Russian GRU officers it's unlikely this case will ever go to trial.

Personally, I'd rate it as a "cheap shot". Mueller got to say whatever he wants, and is virtually guaranteed that no one will ever challenge his statements and accusations.

The Troll Farm case is troubling in a number of ways. It's not clear what exactly is illegal here.

Is it illegal for foreigners, or Russians to have opinions on American politics? Is it illegal for them to form organizations that push for things they want to happen in the world? Is it illegal for Russians to post with pseudonyms that might be mistaken for American names? Is it illegal for some Russians to pay other Russians to create pseudononymous Facebook memes?

Look at the crime from a generic viewpoint. For instance, can citizen organizations in Israel lobby for various results in American elections on social media (I have several Israeli friends, so I already do get a lot of this stuff already)?

Or, are they, too, breaking the law in doing so?

Does the behavior become criminal when it includes paid workers? Or because it's a Group. How about an individual foreigner? Can an Indian software engineer in Hyderabad post a meme saying "Hillary is great". Or is that a violation of some law I'm unaware of, too.

I much more troubled by the actions of the US Government agencies in interfering in the elections than anything that Mueller has accused them of. I discount things that people like the liberal media, Democratic politicians, and tards in general have accused Russia of. Even Mueller, who was himself clearly biased against Trump, could not substantiate those charges. I believe the were fake, false, lying claims by partisan dirty-tricksters, Democrat oepratives, and the Obama complicit media

Such claims are worth less than garbage to me.

“I have been disturbed that more FReepers are not bothered by Russian interference or Putin in general.”

There has never been any proof of Russian interference offered up. Comey’s FBI, Brennan’s CIA says there was but never any solid evidence of said has been produced.

Ukrainian interference HAS been proven, hell, they openly admit to it. That’s why most informed FReepers are not “bothered”.

<<< “ Although probably not mentioned, I’m sure Erdogan is also pished over the recent Congressional action on the Armenian Genocide. “ >>
...........

Yes, he was. He did add something about events of 100 years ago, also, that are being used today to muddy bilateral cooperation in the ME with the USA, saying; 1.) these events should not be in the hands of politicians, but the historians and that 2.) he (Erdogan) has therefore ordered his government archives to be opened up on the Turkish history of said events.

For what it’s worth.. Someone elsewhere has quoted conservative writer, Victor David Hanson, saying that “while Turkey is our ally, they are not our friend, and the KURDS are our friend, they are not our ally.”

Erdogan was asked about security for Christians, during the tensions on the I think the safe border space between Turkey and Kurds. He said it was very difficult because in that northern area, terrorists are there as well.

I think that FOX will join the anti-Turkey crowd to interpret for us what they think, rather than what Erdogan said.

Otherwise, on its face, it was very hopeful and positive, and included a promise to “seek” restoration in Syria for the Christian communities to be able to return there and see their churches rebuilt, so that they may and practice their religion.

One thing for certain, Turkey has seen some pretty bad stuff that is not covered in our news, and according to Erdogan’s story Turkey has responded in kind. He seemed to me to take up the mantle of Trump in battling US media.

I believe that could be true, after hearing him. I hope you will take a look at the presser, maybe on youtube, and see what you think. I don’t think US media will show it, but will be seen advancing a very negative interpretation of what he said and cherry pick it for an opposing argument.

Putin is a commie. In 2016 the media painted Trump as willing to start a nuclear war with whoever. Russia was as good a choice as any. Later once the Hillary campaign and deep state cooked up the Russian collusion narrative, they changed it to the Trumputin talking point.

At that point it became a criminalized policy dispute. Trump said Putin was not a bad guy, and the media complained that Trump was not going to nuke Russia.

The media is of course ok with "tell Vladimir I will have more flexibility after the election". But I would much rather have Trump negotiating as a strong energy exporter with a country that bases most of its federal revenue on gas and oil. Trump is not going to bring fake red buttons, but as in Syria, draw real red lines.

BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA....well that proves one thing, you’re incapable of admitting even to yourself when you’re dead wrong and therefor unable to experience shame. Pathetic way to go through life.

More and more people are going to see what they’re trying to do and how counterproductive it is.

Trump’s base is fired up like never before.

Thanks.

Ambassador Taylor was a ‘chargé d’affaires’ Ambassador......meaning he was a substitute subbordinate....inferior in rank to an ambassador who is absent or one not yet assigned.....

Chargé d’affaires is the lowest rank of diplomatic representative recognized under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
