You are talking about people who were born American losing citizenship. There are people who came to this country and applied for citizenship and it can be revoked and the government used to actively knock them out for double voting
Youre right, but the practice was struck down as unconstitutional in 1967. Other than the natural-born citizenship requirement for the office of President, a citizen is a citizen is a citizen. We cannot have a two-tiered system where naturalized systems are somehow inferior to native ones. Therefore, the law regarding loss of citizenship applies equally no matter how the citizenship was obtained. The only exception is where a person fraudulently obtains naturalization, and in this case, it is deemed that the naturalization never occurred.
