What they seem to be advocating here is Amazon, Google, and Microsoft should scan every file that is stored in their cloud storage. That may seem to be an easy thing to say yes to when the purpose is detecting child pornography, but once the precedent is set, what else will they routinely scan for and report?

It should not be difficult to find child porn with their ultra-sophisticated stuff. They are already scanning for politically incorrect users.
