We should not go in and ‘clean house’. The drug cartel is not worth the life of ONE of our soldiers. We should close the border and cut off the drug money to democrats.

Agree. We would have gotten a lot more bang for our buck if we had gone into Mexico instead of Iraq. Now the drug cartels operate with impunity on our side of the border also. We should kill every last one of them. No arrests, no trials, no imprisonment.

“The ocean glimmered on our right and on our left was a mansion with catwalks on the roofs and walls. Like in a James Bond movie, several guards in black patrolled with what appeared to be machine guns.”
I was watching a documentary about the cartels in Mexico and a Mexican reporter was showing the mausoleums of dead cartel kingpins.
Amazing!
Two and three story mausoleums made of imported Italian stone with air conditioning, stained glass windows from the finest producers, high end furnishings for visitors, armed guards at the cemeteries, you name it.
The cartels took over Mexico long ago, we’re just noticing it now.

I wonder how much influence / money is provided to the Cartels and oppressive communist politicians by George Soros. I would wager there is a considerable amount, and that there is a paper trail.

[The war on drugs is a miserable failure.]
There is not and has never been a war on drugs stateside. Wars imply emergency measures. And mass death. The day we execute drug dealers and impose mandatory detox on addicts, with prison terms for relapses, is the day a war on drugs begins. Mexico’s problem is that it doesn’t even have a death penalty for murder. Indonesia’s probably more corrupt than Mexico, but the universal application of the death penalty for just about every criminal homicide means a murder rate 1/10 of the US.

Very true and I was trying to say that we haven't had any kind of real war since WWII because we've gotten all silly with our rules of engagement. We've not been serious about any war since. War means killing the other SOBs until there aren't any left to fight.
I'd just as soon give druggies only the very best dope for free and let them thin their ranks ASAP. They're killing themselves anyway, why not just give them a hand and speed the process up.

The best way to do it is nobody visit Mexico. Eventually, it will collapse with no tourists.Yeah? And then what happens when a nation on our border with a population of 130 million collapses?

Reminds me of a gangster movie from South Korea, based on true events. An illegal alien from China shows up who is so unrelentingly violent and brutal, chopping people with an axe, stabbing suddenly, that the established gangs are just shocked senseless and can’t even handle that level of violence.

I suspect with the Democrats fight to skip the Border open, that the Drug Cartels run the Democrats too.
