That lady from VA was ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.
I am no political genius, but the Republican Party with effective Leaders is NON EXISTANT IN VA.
VA DESPERATELY NEEDS SOME SAVVY, AGGRESSIVE LEADERS and until that happens...it is lost.
Exhibit A of what happened to the “Republican” party in Virginia. John Warner, former “Republican” senator, who got elected bc the real Republican nominee, Dick Obenshain was killed in an airplane accident and Warner relied on his wife Elizabeth Taylor’s money and fame to get elected - Richard Nixon was quoted on the tapes as saying about some nominee for Secretary of the Navy “any a****** could do it, we even had John Warner doing it”. John Warner not only endorsed the odious Dem Mark Warner for the Senate, he actually made a commercial for him. this was after he and the state AG, Marshal Coleman, undercut the senate campaign of Oliver North, who then narrowly lost to LBJ’s son in law.
