These scum need a good beating.

I disagree. Beating thugs serves no purpose. They committed assault with a deadly weapon, and the police should have responded immediately with the proportionate force.

You do NOT win battles, or wars, with "proportionate force". Overwhelming, massive, brutal, pitiless is the way to save the most lives.

A gut shot, screaming, live protestor breaks up a riot faster than a quiet arrest. Antifa does not believe in Real. It's, perhaps, time to educate them.

Many Winters ago, I saw that, 1968, in Chicago. Chicago PD Tac troopers swinging oak clubs, and blood on the pavement. Funny how everyone ran.
