It matters to everyone that Catholoism has “parishioners who believe in abortion...or who practice birth control, or who cheat on their spouses...etc etc “
Because we have been told that Catholicism is the One True Church that everyone must belong to go to heaven.
Jesus and His Church (which has some Catholics in it) sees those things as sins.
