Former national security adviser Susan Rice believes President Trump should have notified his predecessor about the U.S. raid that ended in the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Rice appeared on CBS's Face The Nation Sunday following Trump's press conference, during which he announced Baghdadi's death. During the presser, Trump confirmed that the now-former head of ISIS was killed after detonating a suicide vest while he was surrounded by three of his children in a cave.
Rice began by praising the military action, calling it "a major milestone" and adding that "it's one that we should be welcoming quite plainly." However, she did warn that Baghdadi's death does not mean "the fight against ISIS is over."
Do you know, was President Obama informed of the death of al-Baghdadi by the administration? Did you know? Margaret Brennan asked.
Theres no reason why I should know. There is a tradition of common courtesy of presidents informing their predecessors of things of significance like this, Rice answered.
Hey Susan...FU!
TALKING POINTS Ut, oh. Suzan’s skipping down the Yellowbrick Road again, along with the mental midgets of the Obama Administraton.
This little POS liar berates Trump for not observing protocol? Obama’s FBI, DOJ, ODNI, CIA and intelligence officials flipped a finger at protocol....and even more.....were intentionally dishonest with incoming President Trump and key members of his new administration.
Obviously their lack of honesty was a serious issue. established protocol, had serious ramifications.
REMEMBER THIS? At 12:15pm on Trumps Inauguration Day, Susan Rice wrote a memo....(wait for it).... to-herself.
This is a justification memo, written by outgoing National Security Advisor Susan Rice to document why there have been multiple false and misleading statements given to the incoming President Trump and all of his officials.
This is not a CYA memo, this is a justification memo for use AFTER the Trump-Russia collusion/conspiracy narrative collapsed; if the impeachment effort failed.
Her crass By-The-Book-Obama aspect refers to both she and then-President Obama being told by CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director Comey, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, that President Trump was the subject of an active counterintelligence investigation to determine if he was under the influence of the Russian government. But they NEVER told candidate Trump about it.
Even the timing of Rice’s Oz-ish memo, written 15 minutes prior to the end of the Obama administration, is ex-post-facto useful as evidence of the authors intent.......as Suzan stupidly confesses to a host of crimes.

Why? Would the Big Zero have called the Deep State to instruct them on how to run things? This comment is nuts.
Damnation by faint praise...
Why Obama is retired and has nothing to do with military ops. Rice is delusional and should loose her security clearance.
After all he created ISIS.
No way should he notify obama especially if Obama was at the top of the Spygate crime spree.
We don’t ‘owe’ democrats the time of day.
The more people you tell the greater chance it has of getting out. This is true even before you add the true nature of the Democrats into the calculation.
I note that most posters here interpreted this question as PRE-event notification, rather than as stated, POST-event notification. The question said "Informed of the death of" implies letting Obama know after-the-fact what had been accomplished. Frankly, I don't think Obama even deserved that.
Arrest this traitor asap!!!
Whining?
More like crying, whimpering and screaming.

[p[Susan Rice: Trump should have notified Obama ahead of Baghdadi raid]]
Why? So he could arrange for him to escape the raid? Hey Susan- obama let this mass murderer go- and it’s rumored he let the dude that’s taken his place go too- Tell him about an impending raid? We’re not idiots susan!
Theres no reason why I should know. There is a tradition of common courtesy of presidents informing their predecessors of things of significance like this, Rice answered.
Not using the FBI to investigate your political opposition is a tradition of common courtesy too.
I wonder ... is she concerned because President Trump said they collected highly sensitive material and information from the raid, much having to do with ISIS origins, future plans, things that we very much want.
Yeah. I wonder.
The detonation didn't kill him, so our guys had to finish the job?
It was none of Big Mikes business.
Add this GHWB in one of his hospital stays was told Trump was probably gonna win , he told the room “ take him out”
