Comey: Mueller 'didn't succeed in his mission because there was inadequate transparency'
The Hill ^ | 10/26/19 | Rachel Frazin

Former FBI Director James Comey said Saturday that Special Counsel Robert Mueller did not succeed in his mission due to "inadequate transparency."

"He didn't succeed in his mission because there was inadequate transparency to the American people on whose behalf he was investigating," Comey said during the Politicon political conference in Nashville.

He said there were two major ways that this "transparency" was lacking: "the way in which his report was spun, massaged and, in my view, misconstrued by the attorney general," and "they way in which it was physically presented made it impossible for the American people to have access to it."

"Bob Mueller presented a great report that's old school, it's 446 pages long but nobody has access to it so nobody sees the work he did and the American people except for a small slice don't know that he removed any possible fuzz on the notion of the Russian attack, that he laid out an extraordinary series of acts by the president," Comey said.

"I think part of his mandate is to make sure that the people who he represents have a reasonable understanding of what he found," he added.

Mueller's investigation into whether there was Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election followed Comey's 2017 firing. This year, a redacted version of Mueller's report was released publicly.

What was Muellers' 'mission'?

Mueller was on a fact-finding mission and he found no facts confirming Trump/Russia collusion.

Mueller sat in a cubicle eating oatmeal through a straw and watching 3 Stooges shorts on YouTube for 2 years.

Meanwhile, Weissman and the rest of the seditious bastards did their dirty work.

Comey is not very bright. He does not know when to shut up and go away.

"inadequate transparency"

The new term for dementia.

The same report that Mueller couldn’t articulate in an open hearing!!?

Comey has NO class, honor, or decency. He would have fit well in the Third Reich.

“... but nobody has access to it so nobody sees the work he did...”

Liars lie. EVERYONE has access to it who is masochistic enough to want to read it. I mean other than the people whose job requires them to read it.

Very true.

When Mueller gave his press conference he was extremely nervous and confused.

When he gave testimony he was confused and didn’t even know what was in the report he supposedly wrote.

So, James Comey, is the Schiff/Pelosi led impeachment circus more likely to succeed because of its brand of “transparency.”

So the only ‘honorable’ people in the FBI are those that can succeed at manufacturing ‘evidence’ that President Trump is corrupt? This catfish is unreal! I nominate Comey as the official leader of the Coup Clutz Clan! What a clown!

People who can't shut up will eventually tell the truth.

That is how almost all crimes are solved, because a person involved couldn’t keep his mouth closed.

Of all people who should know this, it should be the Director of the FBI, but James is far too arrogant.

"the way in which his report was spun, massaged and, in my view, misconstrued by the attorney general,"

So, Mr. Comey, are you telling me that a single press release by Attorney General Barr describing the conclusions of the Mueller report outweighed the tens of thousands of hours of negative mainstream news reporting all during and after the Mueller investigation?

Further, are you saying that the actual report, with no meaningful fact-related redactions, that real Americans could read for themselves, had no influence on their own conclusions?

No. What he said was that it was all due to "transparency".

It was just the opposite. The transparency by the Trump team is what spoiled their plans. They were realy going for obstruction and coverup as their effort to take Trump out. Also damaged their media campaign.

Mueller’s mission was very transparent to just about everyone with a brain. He was out to find a crime to hang around Trump’s neck. He failed in his mission because there was no crime. His mission was partially successful because he managed to obstruct and obscure Trump’s first 2 years in office. Then plan B the Ukrainian Hoax was launched designed to obstruct the next 2 years.

Mueller realized that transparency would be disaster for the FBI and CIA, as well as the DOJ and Obama.

Mueller was just the front man so that the other agencies could clear out evidence of decades of corruption. They are afraid of true patriots that may be on the Trump team.
