You gotta figure most of those with the ability to pay for a ticket in DC are somehow suckling at the Uniparty/DS/Federal teat. Not many Trump fans there.
Ticket prices ranged from $700 for standing room to over $2K for the better seats. Too rich for me.

Excuse me? That is sort of a really broad based assumption. Tickets to ANY major sporting team event in the United States are outrageous. How ever I doubt that keeps supporters of President Trump from going to a game!
