Can you confirm that the interior door handle opens the door manually if you pull the handle all the way out? Maybe you can't, since if the electric door opener works, the door will already be open before the manual opener engages.
(FR has plenty of Tesla haters. I am not one of them.)
Here is a hint. Teslas are a prime example of designing what you could, not designing what you SHOULD.
When you get caught in a blizzard, on your way home from work, and it takes 6 hours to travel 30 miles because of the traffic, with your heater and defroster blasting, and wipers and lights going, and your radio going, and there was no place to charge your car at work, you are STILL going to get home?
