Was in Alberta last month for 10 days. Supposedly they are in a bit of a recession. But it looked very prosperous to me. Crossing from run-down northern Montana to southern Alberta is like going from Tijuana to San Diego. Stark difference.

It’s been fairly tough, with the NDP then the liberals, but we still have the expertise and the resources. They are doing everything they can to shut us down though.

I grew up in southeastern Montana and I can tell you that Montana is run like a feudal kingdom in the Middle Ages. The ranchers that infest government are so anti-growth that they cratered the economy. Montana is surrounded by much more prosperous states like Idaho, Wyoming, South zealots and North Dakota. It is the reason that everyone in my hometown leaves for more economic opportunities.
