The tide is turning in Atlantic Canada. In 2015, it was a red wave but we're seeing gains from the Conservatives and the NDP tonight.
CBC News has declared the Conservatives the winners in two New Brunswick ridings and they're currently leading in three other ridings in the province.
In Nova Scotia, there are 11 ridings and it looks like two are leaning Conservative. Incumbent Liberal MPs Sean Fraser and Geoff Regan have been declared winners in their ridings.
P.E.I. is leaning Liberal, with Lawrence MacAulay declared the winner in Cardigan.
Finally, the NDP managed to make a comeback in St. John's East with Jack Harris taking back the riding from the Liberals. But the Liberals did manage to sweep the rest of the ridings in Newfoundland and Labrador.
I know CPC picked up some seats that were previously liberal, but I’m not very optimistic about the overall results. I’m concerned if things go bad, I will have to leave. If there are enough men in the west willing to fight, that’s great, but I won’t do it alone.
