That happened to me in my early fifties after a year or so the pain gradually lessened and stopped.
But my left foot still has a feeling of slight numbness, I’ll take it over the former pain.
Look into getting an inversion table, the best form of traction to relieve disk pressure. Start slow and build up to hanging vertically. It helped me.
