LOL !
The football team is 5-1 so far:
Uphill. Both ways. In the snow.
Are sure it wasnt before they had cars?
Personally I had 3 cars in hs all bought by myself at the salvation army for $100.
Yeah, cause some black kid who did the same with O’Bummer would have received the same censure. /s
A First Amendment learning experience.
Lawsiut. Get all you can.
Perhaps if they painted “1st Amendment” With the red forbidden symbol over it.
But even if they had such a policy it would be invalid. There is a supreme court case that goes back to Vietnam era that basically summarizes it as “kids don’t check their first amendment rights at the schoolhouse gate”. Back then kids were wearing anti-war armbands and the school(s) tried to stop them. Went all the way to the high court and the kids one.
So, unless there is something wildly different here, or a case I don’t know about... this could be easily struck down by a low court based on high court precedent.
Haters be hatin’. Administrators be ‘ministratin’
The kid should paint a Nazi Swastika in his parking spot and dedicate it to the schools administration.
Obama > teach the little mindless kids to sing praises to him, as if he was a member of the deity.
Trump > refuse to let near adult kids to have an opinion at all.
Or FY. I mean, I get it, but...
Ironic that the First Amendment in in the Bill of Rights specifically to protect the POLITICAL speech, particularly unpopular political speech. It has nothing to do with filthy language or a naked performer covered in chocolate on stage.
Those high school students political speech has been censored by a government authority, and that is unconstitutional.
bump
I too had a car I bought myself in senior year, but the parking lots (teacher and student) were gravel, so painting a parking spot would be rather silly...
