BS! I grew up during the 30's & 40's in an Italian neighborhood and the term "nigger-wop" is a fabrication by this communist filth... "Wop", while derogatory, certainly was not a "racist" term...

My family lived at the intersection of a 99% Irish neighborhood and a 99% Italian neighborhood... Lots of derogatory slang expressions exchanged on occasion by the drinking adults from both neighborhoods playing baseball in the street in front of my house... Race was never an issue... Also, "hate" was never an issue... It was always the wops against the micks... We, being Dutch/Scottish mutts, were on any side we wanted...

As an aside, like the true patriotic Americans they all were, roughly 30% of the "over 16's and under 35's" from both neighborhoods did not survive WWII...
