Many airlines are making efforts to be more inclusive. For example, earlier this year we saw airlines for the first time add a non-binary gender option when booking travel, including the option to select X as your gender (rather than M or F).
Air Canada is largely a progressive airline, and La Presse reports on an internal memo that has been sent to employees. Currently Air Canadas flight attendants, gate agents, and pilots, refer to passengers as ladies and gentlemen when making announcements, but theyll soon be updating their phrasing to be more gender neutral.

Time to load Ya’al who stand or sit to pee.
Bigger fish to fry then this. I remember the world ending when stewardess was replaced with flight attendant. People swore theyd never fly again. I kinda wish that happened as the lines would have thinned out. Id guess they will say, good morning passengers. Oh the horror.
We are now boarding. We’ll begin with First Class cattle and then steerage after.
A while back in the aftermath of 9/11 when the airlines were having a rum go Air Canada went through some changes in ownership. That resulted in whatever air miles points I had accumulated being vaporized. I vowed then never to fly them ever again. My vow is intact so far.
“Welcome aboard front holes, back holes and top holes.”

“Boils and ghouls”
I can relate.
I grew up on a ranch and knew many of my Dad’s World War II friends, including a few generals. Dad could relate to them or a good old cowboy or little grandmother, who he would tip his hat to in a show of respect. He was well rounded and we learned those things well. It’s sad what we’re subjected to today.
I stand corrected...
My Dad was WWII generation and met many WWII vets over the years, but no brass. One served as a guard at the Nuremberg trials. Dad was an electrician on the Aircraft Carrier Ticonderoga and made Chief. They were part of the force mustered by McArthur to retake the Phillipines.
In my career, I have interacted with some pretty heavy duty bankers in Southeast regional banks . . . very successful people. I had to be on my toes to operate in their arena . . . I was a regulator. They were very intelligent, accomplished people. But the hard-earned experience-based, problem solving wisdom of some of those farmers, though not born of education, often impressed me as being highly insightful and reasoned, yet down-to-earth and very valuable to living life. I am a better man to have known them and listen to what they had to say.
We’re definitely in agreement.

LOL!
“They have shackled their economy with leftist BS for decades. Environmentalist run wild and they just handicap themselves at every turn.”
We’re doing the same thing, but at a slower rate.
Yes we are.

Reason #7 why I don’t fly commercial.
How about “Ladies and Germs,” as Milton Berle often addressed his audience?
