Harley Rouda is the definitive idiot son. His father was a successful realtor in the Columbus OH area. Harley has an IQ of about 60 and somehow ended up in CA and won his seat thanks to the infamous ballot harvesting.

Sure investigate it because... they are political enemies? No reasonable suspicion of any crimes, let alone probable cause. But Barr works for Trump, and Murdoch owns Fox News... so, sic ‘em right?
The Republic is truly screwed if we let these ideologues rule the roost.
But it’s silly to suspect Murdoch is personally involved in those kinds of day to day decisions at a network that employs many thousands of people. I have no idea why they met, if it has anything to do with the Russia Hoax investigation then it was probably just a courtesy or to secure cooperation from the top - e.g. Barr asks Murdoch to instruct the network bosses to provide assistance with documents etc.
That’s assuming it has anything at all to do with current events. Maybe Barr is seeking a job. Or maybe it’s a different investigation. Or maybe they are old pals, both having been around politics a long time. Or maybe Murdoch is seeking an acquisition and wants DOJ approval from anti-trust, or maybe Murdoch is complaining about Comcast/ATT monopolistic practices in the news media... could be 1001 possible reasons to meet.

Why do I think that any investigation of Barr’s meeting with FOX executives and firing of Shep smith is a media trap set up to force the media to cover something that normally would be ignored.
Pretty certain they were discussing grandchildren and golf.

I do want to know exactly why he walked out of a multi million dollar contract. There’s so much more to this story. Shep has a younger boyfriend to support - he won’t like that daddy isn’t bringing home the bacon anymore. No pun intended.
