Jane Fonda, a liberal Hollywood celebrity long known for activism and outspokenness – soon plans to leave Tinseltown and relocate to the nation’s capital, at least temporarily.
And according to the Los Angeles Times, the 81-year-old actress (who’ll turn 82 in December) even has a goal in mind: to get arrested.
Fonda told the newspaper she plans to spend about four months in Washington for a series of sit-ins and rallies – after getting an OK from Netflix to take time off from her series “Grace and Frankie” with Lily Tomlin.

It’s the 1960s all over again, ... re-living her Hanoi moment. Woodstock 2019 was a flop, so will this. The good news is that it will all be over soon, probably less than 1 decade.
She ain’t gonna do nothing. Her 82 year-old self won’t let her be manhandled, tossed in a van, and spend a night in jail.

They love other lefties in Washington and seldom arrest protestors. If her goal is to get arrested she should show courage of her conviction and go someplace that does not love her.
Perhaps she could hold a sit in at VFW post. She may get a little wet but it would show more courage then the love fest she will have in DC.

She should move to Beijing, superglue herself to the street, and get run over by a tank.
This isn't going to be protesting, it is going to be posing... in the friendliest venue imaginable.
Among Vietnam vets like myself, the only thing that has kept Hanoi Jane alive is fear of the law.
