Rugby ball. It’s Australia.
It’s an Australian Rules Football, a bit shorter and thinner than a rugby football. Australian Rules is a very big sport, THE big sport in Australia, 16 players on a team, played on a huge oval-shaped field, mayhem without pads.
It appears that this might be an “Aussie Rules” football game, a home grown football game here in OZ, the singlets give it away and the ball is similar to a rugby ball.
