That’s why we don’t intervene militarily in Syria.

ISIS was one of the most savage and monstrous forces to emerge in the world in many decades. The Kurds did most of the front line fighting to defeat them and we provided vital support and materiel, with the commitment of a fairly small number of troops. And Trump has said much about how he smashed ISIS.

That was a worthwhile achievement and we should not abandon the folks who did most of the fighting. And it would be a pretty small commitment to keep a presence in the one area.

“ISIS was one of the most savage and monstrous forces to emerge in the world in many decades.”

Created, funded, and launched by the US Intel community, the State Dept, USAID and the Saudis and Gulf States with the goal of expanding Sunni theocracy to Syria.

Never forget, the evil Assad ran the only nation there where a woman could be a christian or a jew, drive herself to the beach, drink local wine or beer, and wear a normal swimsuit.
Our government wanted to replace that with a Sunni theocracy. Isis was created and got out of hand.

Ever wonder why they had a matching fleet of brand new Toyota HiLux trucks? New TOW missiles? Matching uniforms and gear? Why they could drive through empty desert highways from town to town in broad daylight with ZERO fear of air attack like Kuwait Highway or the Stukas over Dunkirk?

The reason is obvious...
