The media seem to be avoiding that question altogether for some reason or other. They seem to have settled on a brilliant defense: "Oh, well, that's just ol' Joe talking through his anus again, he didn't really mean it and nothing really happened." When the best you can do is call your own candidate a serial liar you've got a problem. The media have been ignoring that question hoping it will go away, but it won't when the subpoenas start flying, if Pelosi ever lets it come to that.
I read a defense of it today. The story is Biden was sent to Ukraine to force them to fire this corrupt prosecutor so US could release funds. Yes, I agree, the story is both ridiculous and outrageous. But you watch, by tomorrow this will be the narrative.
