In a sign that the right-wing media's relentless defense of President Donald Trump may be cracking, Fox News host Tucker Carlson published an op-ed with Daily Caller co-founder and publisher Neil Patel zinging Trump for his call with Ukraine's president. "Donald Trump should not have been on the phone with a foreign head of state encouraging another country to investigate his political opponent, Joe Biden," Carlson and Patel wrote. "Some Republicans are trying, but there's no way to spin this as a good idea."
Carlson and Patel added, "Like a lot of things Trump does, it was pretty over-the-top. Our leaders' official actions should not be about politics. Those two things need to remain separate. Once those in control of our government use it to advance their political goals, we become just another of the world's many corrupt countries. America is better than that."

Do you actually listen to Rush or just read what others say that he says? Rush had some doubts about Trump when he first announced his candidacy, but he is one of his most ardent supporters now.
That’s it for him. I’m sure he was a rootless cosmopolitan globalist pearl-clutching traitor all along, and he probably used kabbalist mind control to fool people.
Well there’s always F&F weekend’s with Pete Hegseth.
I watch him sometimes but for the most part, I find him besmirch Trump Whan he gets a chance.
No one has to like or agree with everything Trump says and does in order to be a supporter and that includes Tucker. However, didnt you guys also read that Tucker said it was neither illegal or impeachable? That was the important part of this article to me and NOT the spin CNN put on it.
Look at the headline, Tucker. You gave the anti-Trumpers a gift. With friends like you...
PS: FUTC
I would not opine on Rush if I did not listen to him. I have my viewpoint. It is founded. If you dont like it you do not have to. Im just saying what I see. Not getting trump is not the same as not liking him or being on his side or seeing what Trump is trying to do. It doesnt mean liking on like Tucker seems to be doing.
A lot of people I know like Trump a lot but dont get him. Many say he has to stop tweeting others say he has to clean out the staff completely and get new people in there. They dont get him. They surprise me. They still like him as president
The President has EVERY right to demand an investigation of a blackmail attempt by the former Vice President.
And, I have no doubt, he would have made the request even if Biden hadn't been running.
Right on!
As well, not that it is ultimately that important, but it has now been reported Mayor G started his investigation into all of this, at least 3 weeks before Biden announces he was getting into the race. Makes one wonder if this was the real reason Biden decided to get into the race.
Another point, this is by far not just about J Biden. By necessity, this net is much more extensive.
Is it? I don’t know. I do know Faux news headquarters is in NYC
The enemy is inside the wire!
A lot of things you can do are "inappropriate" but they aren't illegal. In government and politics "inappropriate" behavior can get you in to trouble, though it may not involve violating the law.
What Tucker may have been getting at is the "appearance of impropriety." In politics, "appearances" can matter a lot. Even if somebody does nothing wrong, "the appearance of impropriety" can come to be seen as "improper" itself.
Yep...plenty of other Democrats, and their family members involved, not to mention it opens the opportunity to investigate their involvement in China, ie., Pelosi and her son.
I had cable and satellite TV removed so many years ago, maybe 2011-2012. I was so used to FR as a news gatherer and then I could stream news on demand linking to video clips.
How anyone tolerates TV programming via cable or Satellite is a mystery to me unless they’re out in the sticks where high speed internet is not available. But here in WA State in our rural areas, there’s plenty of high speed internet.
But Tucker is part of cable programming which I don’t have and don’t want.
Goodbye Tucker.
This, I did not know... (if true).

CNN: Bush-Cheney Veteran in Talks to Work With Kushner in WH
Thursday, 19 January 2017
Neil Patel, who was a chief policy adviser for former Vice President Dick Cheney during the Bush-Cheney administration, could be in line to work with Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, in the White House, according to CNN.
Kushner offered Patel the role informally, but they have agreed to discuss details at a meeting first.
(snip)
After his job with Cheney, Patel became co-founder of the conservative news blog The Daily Caller, along with his college roommate, Fox News host Tucker Carlson, according to CNN.
STFU Tucker!
Tucker lets the libs make fools of themselves...he has no love for the DC establishment
Tucker, how often does your spouse beat you?
"Treaty with Ukraine on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters", Treaty Document 106-16. Approved in 1999 under President Clinton. In Senate records and downloadable as a PDF - 31 pages.
Authorizes mutual assistance in criminal investigations.
Trump is following the law, not violating it.
