NEW: Attorney General William Barr has held private meetings overseas with foreign intelligence officials, including in the U.K. and Italy, seeking their help in investigation of the Russia investigation.
Good, I was beginning to think nothing was happening.
Yep, I said pretty similar earlier.
The reality of politics today, is that anything Democrats do overseas is off-limits, and anyone looking into their overseas criminal activity is somehow colluding with a foreign government. Also, the fact that the AG is personally calling on these foreign intel agencies tells me that either:Anything Republicans do overseas is immediately defined as collusion and treason, must be investigated as Democrats see fit, and the Republican must be tried and convicted even if no crime occurred at all.
a. The investigation has struck gold, and stuff is about to happen.
or more likely
b. Durham has hit a brick wall, and Barr is trying to up the pressure. Nothing will come from this that is good for the USA.
Barr must feel like he’s in Alice in Wonderland
The Biden’s actually illegally colluding with the Ukrainians (and Chinese) yet they accuse Trump of colluding....the lawlessness of the other side is breathtaking
The swamp is really the best metaphor
Good. All this shows is that Jeff Sessions was the WORST AG ever!
Read the official conservatives: Trump has betrayed us. Trump is crazy. Trump is dangerous. On and on and on. And dont think their voices go unheard in the hinterland.

Official conservatives? Who? Jennifer Rubin?
I pray for his safety. These are dangerous times.
I’m thinking of Ross Douthat and Rod Dreher, both widely read for reasons other than politics.

Widely read? By what measure?
Barr is AG, he is the one that is suppose to do these investigations. Good for him
Oh? THAT John Durham?
Well I sure hope you’re right. it’s hard to watch our President being assaulted from every side by these little punks. God him strength and guidance.
In this instance, the two administrations are both on the Right and politically copacetic. My guess is that the conservative elected Italian government would like some assurance that since the US now supports Brexit, that they will provide financial and trade concessions to Italy in return for Italian support for Brexit.
“They will try to say Trump should not be involved because he has a conflict of interest. And then claim it was impeachable because he was”
Thanks. That hadn’t sunk into me yet.
