The House doesn’t have “inquiries” or “legal investigations”. The House impeaches, and the Senate does the investigations and decides whether to remove or not.

Interesting. So why then did House Dems rain subpoenas on the Trump admin last week?

You seem to be ignoring the political reality here. It’s the Dems doing all the investigation. The GOP, to quote another FReeper, is in a coma right now.

The House investigates things all the time, just like the Senate does. In the case of impeachment, the house conducts investigatory hearings in order to decide whether to impeach. If that happens then it goes to the Senate for a trial, not an investigation.
