Except Fredo Cuomo looks much more stupid than the original. Every time I see that vacant, stumped, befuddled look on his face I laugh out loud.
John Cazale who played Fredo in the Godfather films died young, age 33 from lung cancer.
He was loved by all around him, He was known as a really great guy and an exceptional A+ actor. His acting colleagues all agreed he was in a class of his own regarding acting talent. Francis Ford Coppola was so impressed with Cazale's acting talent that he included him in his productions whenever John was available.
Chris Cuomo should laugh at his characterization as Fredo and give a shout out to John Cazale and say he wished he had an ounce of John's talent. It would make Chris so much more likable. But that's asking too much as Chris is part of the Zucker CNN sinking ship and can't express anything resembling class.
I also read somewhere that along with being an A+ actor he was also brilliant!
From what I’ve read, he was brilliant.
What I particularly like about his biography is his humble beginnings. Started working as a photographer, then a messenger boy for a production company, doing community theater on the side and working very hard to perfect his acting skills.
I love stories about people overcoming life’s hurdles and revealing and using their God-given talents.
