Just have to take a look at the demographics of southern states to understand that. I was told by my driver’s ed instructor that every southern girl who got her driver’s license was also given a glove box pistol by her father.

I was told by my driver’s ed instructor that every southern girl who got her driver’s license was also given a glove box pistol by her father.He wasn't wrong. In fact, I think these pollsters would be shocked to know how many women have guns, in Texas, alone.
But in that same vein, I don't know many people, in Texas, that would tell a stranger if they did, or didn't have a gun. It's a common feeling that it's no one's dang business.
