The reason is the dispute between Netanyahu and one of his coalition partners over military service for orthodox Jews, from which they have been exempt.
In fact Liberman has a point on this. Why Orhhodox should have all the benefits at taxpayers’ expense and a draft exempt? For what exact reason they are above and looking down on everyone else?
