From what I've read, nobody appeared before the FISC court. DOJ just dropped it off. Everybody rubber stamped the FISA request including the 4 republican appointed judges. McCabe would just use the Rosenstein defense that it had been approved 3 previous times. Comey signed off the on the first 3 requests for the FBI.

That would be his attempt at a defense, but if he signed that thing as the affiant, he’s going to have some explaining to do. Rosenstein has offered that defense during some questioning by the press or some friendly members of Congress, who weren’t going to hold him accountable. He was their guy. In a court of law, when you’re the defendant, it’s “supposed” to be a bit different.

None of these guys has been held accountable, yet.

I’m not confident, but one never knows, until they know.
