Supposedly, the last time a British monarch refused to sign legislation was in 1708.

So her signing is pretty much a formality.

If a monarch does not exercise reserve powers (especially when it absolutely needs to be done), and if the Parliament does not respect that monarch’s decision when that happens, those are not reserve powers.
