I agree. Someone in an earlier comment said that outside of Trump there is no GOP. I hope that is not true. Because that is not how you describe a political party. It’s would be more of a cult. And that’s not something I have any interest in being part of. Sometimes I think I’m the last FReeper who is willing to be critical of Trump.

StoneWall Brigade was zotted a few days ago for being critical for the president. That’s how it works I believe.
In terms of the GOP, without formal party structure, you’re absolutely right, there no GOP. We’d turn into a cult otherwise. It does explain why the RNC does not want primaries for 2020 - they’re afraid of the same thing. This way they are keeping both sides happy.
