Read the fine print. That's only if you use them no more than 3 hours a day. Work from home (or retired) and use them 15 hours a day, and you are down to no more than 2 years. And the heat buildup may cause the electronics to fail even faster.
I have noticed that the cheap Chinese crap ones I buy at Home Depo last a lot longer than the cheap Chinese crap ones that come from Walmart. And I haven't had one burn through yet like a couple of toxic twisties did.

Thats almost 10,000 hours! No incandescent would last that long. Plus you have saved over $200 in electricity costs!
