I bought two 100 W equivalent LED bulbs for the ceiling light in my kitchen that should have lasted longer than I. One failed within a couple weeks. It was a relatively inexpensive store brand, and I’m sure the store would have accepted a return, but who the heck keeps receipts for light bulbs?
I vaguely remember when the electric company used to give them out for free. You just took in your burned out bulbs and they would give you new ones......
