Thats the thing. Boris doesnt have to get anything passed by Parliament. They already triggered article 50. They want to keep him in office but not in power. They do not want a general election because Boris and Nigel Farage would slaughter them. So they pass this bill to try to tie Boris hands.
But he doesnt have to present the bill to the Queen. If it doesnt get royal assent it doesnt become law. To any howls of protest, Boris can just say fine.....hold a vote of no confidence if you dont approve. That will of course result in the general election they do not want. Or, they can just accept it in which case the clock runs out on the extension and the U.K. is out of the EU with no deal.
Its not Boris whos trapped - despite what the Establishment media is trying to claim - its the ReMoaners who are trapped. It is they who must get something passed and cant.
