I can’t believe Florida hasn’t required all structures built in stucco, every window have hurricane shutters and a 50 year roof. At least that would minimize SOME damage. In the end, it would save a lot of money.
My cousin was a meteorologist in the hurricane center down there during that storm. My Aunt was not happy about it.
