I landed in Guam after a typhoon with identical wind speeds and the devastation was hard to comprehend. Every tree on the windward side of the island was broken off, the entire jungle forest was stripped. A 50 foot PT boat was picked out of the harbor and set down across highway one.

Prayers up on this one.

I went though hurricane Iwa in Hawaii on a submarine.

That **** still haunts me.

I visited St Croix about a year after a cat 5 hurricane. Same as you described. Like a giant lawn mower went over the place. Mountains of debris still piled everywhere. Planes flipped and lots of boats way inland.
