They don't make liberals smarter than Chris Hayes.

No, really, I'm not kidding. They don't.

“would be unconstitutional” if it “wasn't’specifically in the Constitution.”

This passes for genius in liberal circles!!!!!

I thought it was not cool to make fun of Retards....but....this guy IS a Retard.

The problem is that these people really have nothing to talk about because they really can’t just go saying out loud that, “We are the moral superior overseers of the masses, you must submit!!!!!!”

At least not yet anyway.

The job of the useful idiot.

What Chris meant to say...

“The US Constitution was conceived by evil pasty white men in white powdered wigs.”

“It is a document of oppression by the white Europeans to dominate over brown people and needs to be abolished”.

Liberals have not been taught that the Constitution was designed purposely to make it extremely difficult to pass legislation. Only the most critical laws that could muster a majority of the House, a majority of the Senate, and the consent of the President could become the law of the land. Some specific areas even required super-majorities, which would make action even more difficult. One example is the super-majority needed to remove a sitting President.

The reason for this built-in resistance to passing legislation was to protect THE PEOPLE from creating an over-bearing government, such as that against which the Founders had just fought a revolution.

This vital purpose of the Constitution has been thwarted by unethical horse-trading and a Supreme Court which has been intimidated into approving crap like Obamacare, Social Security, and all the other myriad of over-reaching government agencies. Most of the states mirror this loss of limitation on government reach.

We live in interesting times.

Murder would be acceptable and legal and constitutional
if there weren't laws against it.
So would bank robbery and rape and all of those
other really fun crimes.

the Supreme Court having developed “a jurisprudence of one person, one vote,” which means “each individual vote has to carry roughly the same amount of weight as each other individual vote.”

Except individuals voting is not part of the Constitutional system for choosing a President. At all.

To the extent permitted by each of the fifty State Legislatures, individuals vote in a statewide advisory election to direct the Legislature (where permitted) to appoint certain individuals as Electors.
