Theres enough material in this case for ten crime novels. Heck, at this point I wouldnt be surprised if Epstein were still alive. Maybe the two guards and the coroner were all told that this is a matter of national security. So just stick to the script, and do as youre told.
Most mob killings are like this - they want the body to be found and they want people to know they got away with it. The people doing it don't care what the general public thinks and do care about terrorizing potential victims. Making Epstein simply disappear would have been much easier, but it wouldn't have served as a warning. Will the FBI get to the bottom of this? No.
