You’ve established through proceedings that the person is a danger to themselves or others. You’re stripping them of their guns as a protective measure. And then you what, let them on the street to go rent a Penske truck and drive through a crowd? Use a knife to kill their roommates (oh, hey, hi SB mass murderer whom is the poster child for this law.. killed more with his knife than his gun.)
You’ve established they’re crazy and then you...just leave them out to do whatever. That makes no sense at all.

Red Flag laws are an end run around the second amendment- they won;t do away with second amendment- they don’t have to- they will just keep chiseling away till it’s impossible to ‘legally own and use’ a gun
