No question we don't really have a lot of data on the storm but tarpon fishermen are all over the remnants of where the flagler train ran since the concrete remains are still there off fav. fishing bridges like channel 2 at MM 73 at the southern end of Islamorada.My shop is at 82 and the stories i have heard sine 1970 when I moved from Miami to Key Largo now to islamorada are simply amazing.
The memorial referred to earlier is about a mile south of where I am located. A church is nearby and rings their bells every day.
