My wife’s family lives in Jax. We just cam back from visiting them a few weeks ago. Stayed at North Beach campground in St. Augustine. It was awesome.
They are probably 12 miles inland from Neptune beach. They normally stay put. Time will tell this time.

I have followed the news for deaths and injuries after every hurricane. It seems like trees falling on people and those living in trailers are the most reported.
By the way, I’m sure you know that Governor Abbott of Texas is in a wheelchair. I was curious and researched what happened. He was walking or running outside after a Texas storm when he was 26 years old and in law school. A large tree branch fell on him, and he’s been paralyzed ever since.
Your sister should seek out her nearest hurricane shelter in her town. Take a pillow/blanket/sleeping bag, a little suitcase with clothes, and her meds with her.
