Thank you very much for your local update! Great news for PR!
About this time of year, I hear Bastardi’s name mentioned with more frequency.
As a whole, are his predictions fairly accurate? Or no?
Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 15 miles from the
center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 mi.
Publix is already out of water in my area!!
Windy.com is pretty cool.
Here’s a link straight to the closeup tracking page:

Definitely.
I went to the gym today wearing a UF t-shirt.
An older guy talked to me for an hour about UF.
It was pretty cool having a bonding “moment” that I haven’t
had in a long time. Not many Gators in Philly...
Bastardi is right more than he’s wrong and when he’s wrong he admits it and explains what he missed.
Im on the treasure coast. Weve had our share of hurricanes.
Thanks NautiNurse-Bump.
Dear Ms. NautiNurse,
Thanks for waking up from your nap or cutting your yoga session short but “Those of us in the Southeast are especially grateful for all of your posts.”
Let me know if it gets close to Clearwater. ;-)
Pretty sure you’re just north of us but whatever it is it’ll be a tropical storm at worst if it gets to us (famous last words).

“...and when hes wrong he admits it and explains what he missed.”
I only wish our elected officials were more like that!
He is right a lot. Here is a youtube video he made today on Hurricane Dorian:

More of our geeks, too.
Path has it passing across Florida, and into the Gulf of Mexico. If it picks back up there, it could be a double-header.
Dang it! If it swings over my part of NC and drops 5+ inches the driveway will wash out. Looks like I’ll be cleaning out the ditch this weekend.
Looks like you’re safe for this one! {fingers crossed}
Will Rush Limbaugh be returning next week, though? Looks like it’s headed his way.
Could be a triple-header, because it turns out in some cases the worst damage comes when it weakens into a tropical storm and dumps a lot of rain on places like Virginia.
A lot of people probably think that the Gulf Coast suffered the most from Hurricane Camille, when in fact most of the deaths attributed to Camille actually occurred in Virginia, because of flooding.
Scroll down a bit for the graphic and wind speed key.
*bump* thanks
